Although designed to work two weeks, this clock should be wound five key turns every week to not take the risk of breaking springs by excessive winding, creating cracks in the steel springs ( breakage can result in the destruction of the disc's teeth by the sudden expansion of the spring in the winding-mechanism's barrel ).
Movement guaranteed for 5 years off spring break for the above reason.

Lamartine (Pratz, Jura) yellow marble clock, patricia green marble (Aosta valley) lattice. Half-moon form with redans. Red copper thistle branche decorations on both sides of the dial, rests on a bronze base supported by four legs.
White enamel dial signed Bonnafour Mazamet, black arabic numerals, pear-shaped hands.
Fine adjustment of the gain and loss on the Brocot suspension by ream, on front at 12 o'clock.
Period Paris movement, locking-plate striking-work on hours and half hours, Thiéble pendulum.
